Sarca

Sarca is a river springing from the Adamello-Presanella mountains and flowing into the Garda See. It is then continued by Mincio river, collecting Garda See outcoming waters.

Sarca river flows through Val di Genova at first, passing through several waterfalls (Cascina Muta and Saft dei Can are the most known). Before reaching Val Rendena, part of its water is diverted to a hydroelectric power implant. Then its flowing becomes less and less tumultuous. The main places facing on the river are Pinzolo, Tione di Trento, Ragoli, etc...
