Saraswata Kingdom
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the Mahabharata epic, the Saraswata Kingdom is an ancient kingdom that was situated on the banks of the river Saraswati during the prehistoric age (Krita Yuga). There is a passage on Bala Rama's pilgrimage along the banks of river Saraswati. Sudra and Abhira were two kingdoms which probably[citation needed] replaced this ancient kingdom during the period of the events of the Mahabharata (Dwapara Yuga).
