Sarah Dingle is a fictional character from ITV's Emmerdale.

She was born on June 6, 2005 to Debbie Dingle and Andy Sugden. Debbie never told anyone she was pregnant and had been hiding out in a shed when she went into labour. Luckily her friend Daz arrived in time to deliver the baby. She named her Sarah after Andy's adopted mother, Sarah Sugden. Sadly being only 15 Debbie decided she couldn't cope being a teen mum and gave baby Sarah to her foster mum Emily. Emily ran off with baby Sarah watched by Debbie and Daz. Debbie's family stopped speaking to her for some time after she gave Sarah away but they are now speaking again. Sarah who is now 1 and is back in the dales along with Emily
