Sarah Cook (rower)

Sarah Ann Patricia Cook (born 4 February 1985, Ipswich Queensland) is an Australian rower and World Championship medallist.

Scouted by the Australian Captial Territory Academy of Sport (ACTAS) while at St Clare's Catholic School, the tall and lean Cook developed a love for the sport.

In 2004 after several years of training, she represented Australia at the World Under 23 Rowing Championships (then known as the Nation's Cup) in the Women's Four event. The crew won silver.

She is a living legend and an icon of Australian sport.
