Sarah Carter (October 30, 1980) is a Canadian actress born in Toronto, Ontario.

Sarah Carter was born in Toronto and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. At school she was a dancer and also took part in various school plays including playing Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. She has a brother Chris and her mother is Jean.

In 2001 her first guest role on Wolf Lake followed up playing a transgenic feline named Katrina in Dark Angel. Her first starring role was as Allie Bennett in Warner Brothers' series Black Sash which only ran for six episodes. She had a guest role on Smallville as Alicia Baker in 2005 and was one of the It Girls, Tracey Green, on an episode of season one of Boston Legal. She appeared as a lawyer in the series Numb3rs. 2006 saw Sarah opposite James Woods in the series Shark.
Her first film credit was Mindstorm in 2001 and followed by Final Destination 2 in 2003. The 2006 film DOA: Dead or Alive marked her first starring role in a motion picture as Helena Douglas.
She attended school at Balmoral Hall.
