Sarabjit Singh Dhillon

Lieutenant General Sarabjit Singh Dhillon, is the Indian General Commander of Kashmir (GoC) since 2005. He is one of the most respected Generals currently serving in the Indian Army. He is a veteran of the 1971 Indo-Pak war and has held several important command and staff appointments at various levels of his career. An alumni of National Defence Academy, Lt Gen Dhillon was commissioned to the Grenadiers regiment in 1968. He attended the defence services staff course, Wellington, senior and higher command courses at Army War College, Mhow and also the National Defence college at New Delhi.
