Sapporo Ichiban (サッポロ一番?) is a brand of instant ramen noodles made by Sanyo Foods. It is known for slightly larger portions and lack of cartoons on the package.

Available flavors include:

  • Chicken (Green package)
  • Beef (Brown package)
  • Miso (Orange package)
  • Shrimp (Pink package)
  • "Original" (Red package) a mild soy sauce flavour
  • Yakisoba/Chow mein (Yellow, orange and white package). This is not actually ramen soup, but ramen noodles that are reconstituted then stirfried with the enclosed flavour package, usually with ground beef and Chinese cabbage. After it's cooked, it's sprinkled with dried seaweed from an enclosed pouch.
  • Kitsune - kitsune udon (Blue and white package). This is not actually ramen, but another type of Japanese noodle called udon. The noodles have a flat shape to them and also comes with a reconstitutable square of fried bean curd.
