[edit] wiki
Please include a game that starts you from a random page in wikipedia--Akako|☎ 01:22, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
- Do you mean rolling the die, going to Special:Randompage, follow the rules, then post it next on that game's list?
[edit] Wondering...
Why are the dice on user subpages on Uncyclopedia? --WCQuidditch ☎ ✎ 00:28, 13 December 2005 (UTC)
- They have an extension that allows random objects to be chosen. This gives you a number between 1-5
<choose> <option>1</option> <option>2</option> <option>3</option> <option>4</option> <option>5</option> </choose>
WP doesint have that extension.
[edit] I won!
Unfortunately, someone decided to delete me from the HOC, get rid of my last roll, then roll again and keep it going. I don't care, it's just kind of stupid to do that and not reset it, if you want the game to go on. Tokakeke 06:14, 5 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Links question
Does a disambiguation page count as a link (eg: Leonardo (disambiguation))? --Gidklio 21:36, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
For what it's worth, I (not a user) vote no -- it's not part of the "second" article that the "first" one wanted to link to. If a sentence says, "Mozart was a composer," the fact that "composer" is also an HTML editor has nothing to do with Mozart. Since this game is really about the ways ideas can link one after another, I would say it's "cheating" when a word happens to have two meanings -- that's what the word association game is for.
[edit] Game 2 wasn't won
It appears that game two hasn't been won - the last article is a red link with no history, meaning it has always been a red link. The instructions clearly say that you ignore red links. So, should we reopen the game from the previous word, leave it be, or what? Thryduulf 15:55, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Oh really you can't use red links . . . oops i didn't know that, I think we or maybe I should bring the game back and let me roll again, I swear I won't post red links.Father Time89 04:17, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
Ok I fixed game 2 but I still have a question say if I roll a 3 and the next four links are a blue link, a red link, a blue link, and then another blue link, should I pick the third or the fourth red link to follow the rules?Father Time89
[edit] Archiving
Other than in the history, would it be possible to archive the more interesting (or surprisingly long) old games? That would be cool just to look at, you know? To see how "Bishapur" leads to "video game producers," for example. -- guest 2/3/06 @ 10:39
[edit] Did I win??
I keep looking at 157 BC and I think that its possible that I didn't win at all, but instead, all the links at the top of the page (the dates) are all viable links. Please, someone let me know because I am sick of losing sleep over it (don't worry I'm totally kidding, but it would be much appreciated) SOLVE INFERNIS 19:56, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
I think you really won
[edit] I won too
I was playing and it led me to the Greek article. The article was vandalism (blanking) at the time. I reverted it and let the game continue. I didn't realize that that WAS a dead-end page and that I won! Now it's 5-6 months later and the game just might have been won by someone else. SupaStarGirl 13:03, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] mfd note
This page was nominated for deletion in November 2006, but the nomination gained no consensus and thus the page was kept. (Radiant) 13:44, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Why have the rules disappeared from this page? Trixovator 11:42, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
