[edit] Is that you?

Alex, is that really you? Were you planning to expand that article? If so sorry I might have been a bit hasty deleting it. CanadianCaesar The Republic Restored 08:24, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

I understant that the last thing you want when you come to wikipedia is to read all these manuals, but sometime it is worth to spend some time on. Wikipedia has its own rules quite different from the other internet forums, boards and blogs. They may seem to be arcane from the first sight, but after you will get used to them they seem to be right.

E.g. you have downloaded an image Image:Alex756-01-06.jpg and tagged as a fair-use, but have not provided any sources for it. It is against the rules as the suitability of an image for the fair-use could not be checked by independent experts. Wikipedia has also a policy against use of the fair use images outside the main article space. All these mess can be handled if you could give the image a free license, e.g. {{GFDL-self}}. Wikipedia also has policies of Verifiability and neutral point of view. For the application of these policies please check the discussion at Talk:Wiktor Poliszczuk. Also, you seems to have interest to Polish and Ukrainian topics. You may want to check Portal:Poland and Portal:Ukraine, especially Portal:Ukraine/New article announcements and Portal:Poland/New article announcements. Anyway thanks for your contributions and welcome to the Wikipedia. abakharev 11:16, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please do not vandalize user pages

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. abakharev 06:43, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and repeated and blatant violation of WP:NPOV are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires. abakharev 11:35, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
