SandyBeaches represents the virtual feeling of satisfaction one gets when actually at the beach. I am Sandy, the owner of the social networking community called The Reef, located at www.thereef.ws. The handle, Sandy, was originally used at other websites, notably Mr. Showbiz (where I was rudy for many years until the site's chats went down), Bianca.com, dotcomjunkies.com, MSN.com, Yahoo.com, and a few others in IRC. "Sandy", colored in blue, encompasses everything that I am - beach lover, avid beach volleyball groupie, jetski addict, and fisherperson. People who also share this obsession understand when I say that the beach is a part of me. It's what I grew up with, and it will always be important in my life. One day, I hope to get back to it. Until then, I will use my monikor "Sandy" or "Sandybeaches" to live vicariously through the life of those who still have access to my most beloved climate and geography.
