Talk:Santa Rosa Island, California

Please leave this page at Santa Rosa Island, California not (California). It's a location as well as a disambig, it matches Santa Catalina's naming, and all of the links in go to the former not the latter. Thanks. jengod 00:52, July 29, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Corrections to article

The former owners, Vail and Vickers Cattle Company (V&V), did not sell the island to the government. Santa Rosa Island was made into a National Park by an act of Congress (without the consent of V&V). The owners received compensation from the government.
