I've found the museums website and it sites the date of the opening of the museum in 1986. I don't know if it's true that this is the first surf museum or not. So far, no one has disputed the date. I do know that there is a surf museum in Huntington Beach, but I don't know when it opened.--63.249.112.83 20:19, 13 August 2006 (UTC) SluggerBugger
