Talk:San Andreas Multiplayer

Deletion? Why? This article is almost great! Perhaps some rewriting here and there, but it is not a bad article. --Svippong 21:47, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Different Name.
I made a suggestion to the guys whho made SA:MP, that they should change the name to "San Andreas Online". Or, "Grand Theft Auto Online". Because it resembles MMORPG's. RocketMaster
This page seems to be up for deletion. I feel this specific page should either be deleted or moved to "SA-MP" as this page is misleading, as there are multiple San Andreas Multiplayer modifications available. If it is moved this page could be listed to link to every "San Andreas Multiplayer" which would make more sense.
- Indeed, this page should be a portal for all the mods out there, both from the past (like gtaT and GGM, present like MTA and off course SA-MP and future (who knows).
- I love the way the previous 2 comments where made annoymously through IP's. This is the name of the mod is it not? So you can hardly have people coming looking for this name, and being directed somewhere else.

As San Andreas Multiplayer is the correct complete title for the mod I believe this article should remain under it's current title, however to alleviate the above concerns I have added a disambiguation tag to the top of the page linking to a List of GTA multiplayer mods, please add to that list any noteworthy mods which I have left out. - Jaqel 19:49, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Flaws
I believe this section should be re-written as a generalised summary of the shortcomings and difficulties associated with creating third party modifications for games which a development environment is not officially available, this would avoid the bias present in this section's current form. - Jaqel 20:07, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
it may resemble a mmo, if a such gamemode is scripted. if scripted the right way it will resemble a flight simulator or a racing game... Jernejl 08:23, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
