Santo Tomas is a 1st class municipality in the province of Batangas, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 80,393 people in 15,712 households. Edna Sanchez is the wife of Armando C. Sanchez, the governor of Batangas and the current mayor of this municipality.
