Santo Domingo, Chile
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Santo Domingo is an exclusive touristic city located in the coast of Chile. It is 110 km away from chile's capital Santiago. Santo Domingo home owners are usually extremely fancy people from Santiago.
[edit] Main Attractions
The Beach: one of the particularities of this beach, is that only fancy people are allowed to get in the southern side of it. If you are not fancy enough, people will stare at you thinking "oh my god, what da hell is he doing here?... he is not fancy enough". The north side of the beach should be good for any normal person. Hot chicks usually lay down on the southern side of the beach. For the male tourist the view is quite compelling, but you should be aware that these girls can only be touched by fancy people.
Golf Club: it's a very nice country club where traditional Chilean people take their children to do sports while they sit and eat all day.
Off road: as the beach extends several kilometers to the south, it is a preferred place to practice off road motor sports. Although it is not legal to drive in the beach over the summer, everybody does it because Chilean cops are quite incompetent.
[edit] Restaurants
Golf Club: The best restaurant in town is probably the one inside the Golf Club, but membership is required to get in.
Santa Maria del Mar: this place is operated by the same company as the Golf Club, but access is allowed for non-members as long as they pay the check.
La Plaza: this restaurant is in the neighbouring town of Llolleo located in the main square. For not too much money you get a pretty good deal on seafood. If you are not picky on cleanness this might be a good choice .
