Santiago González

Santiago González Portillo (1818 – 1887) was President of El Salvador 15 April 1871 - 1 February 1876. He was a military officer and a member of the Liberal Party. He led a revolution in 1871 in which the conservative government was overthrown, and he amended the constitution.
