Santer Commission
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Santer Commission was the European Commission that held office from 1995 until 15 March 1999. It consisted of its president, Jacques Santer, and nineteen other commissioners. The Santer Commission did not serve its full five year term, but was forced to resign early over allegations of corruption. It was the successor to the Delors Commission and was succeeded by the interim Marín Commission and then the Prodi Commission.
