Santanyí

Santanyí is a municipality on Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands of Spain.
In this municipality of the South of Mallorca are located, in the interior, the towns of Santanyí, Calonge, s’Alqueria Blanca and es Llombards, while on the coast are Cala Esmeralda, Cala d’Or, marina de Cala d’Or, Portopetro, Cap des Moro, Cala Figuera, Cala Santanyí, Cala Llombards and Cala de s’Almunia with their wonderful beaches. The coast is about 35 kilometers long. The large number of archaeological sites - 172 - shows the existence of a productive agriculture and ranching since the pretalayotic and talayotic periods. Any of the aforementioned coves can assure you a special day.
There is also a Protected natural area, the Mondragó Natural Parc.
