S. Maria delle Grazie (St. Mary of Graces), also Madonna delle Grazie (Our Lady of Graces) is the name of many hundreds of churches throughout Italy and Italian parts of Switzerland, as for example in Alanno, Anghiari, Arezzo, Bevagna, Capua, Giano dell' Umbria, Monteleone d'Orvieto, Pietralunga, Rome (at least three), S.Anatolia di Narco, Senigallia. Such churches usually owe their foundation to thankfulness for graces received from the Virgin Mary.
