Santa Catarina (island)

Santa Catarina Island (Portuguese: Ilha de Santa Catarina) is an island in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. The island covers 523 km² and is the site of the state capital Florianópolis as well as numerous beach resorts. It is connected to the mainland by three bridges.
