Sant'Agostino is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ferrara in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 35 km north of Bologna and about 20 km west of Ferrara. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,357 and an area of 35.2 km2.[1]
The municipality of Sant'Agostino contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Dosso and San Carlo.
Sant'Agostino borders the following municipalities: Bondeno, Cento, Galliera, Mirabello, Pieve di Cento, Poggio Renatico.
