The Sannino Hills are located in the province of Benevento, Italy. The Sannio hills has long been considered a particularly fertile zone of Italy. The ancient Greeks knew this region to have exceptal land for growing olives. Today a variety of crops are grown besides olives. The Sannio Hills are know for producing grapes under the Sannio name for which several fine wines are produced.
