Sani-Cola

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sani-Cola is a fictional carbonated soft drink from the Tintin comics by Hergé. Its only appearance is in the twenty-third Tintin volume Flight 714.

Sani-Cola is one of the eccentric millionaire Laszlo Carreidas's many products. It is emerald green in colour and contains minute amounts of chlorophyll. Carreidas claims Sani-Cola is very healthy, but in the comic, this was partly disproven by Captain Haddock, when he emptied a glass of Sani-Cola into a plant pot. Mere minutes afterwards, the plant withered away and died.

Sani-Cola is packaged in bottles similar to those of the real-world soft drink Coca Cola.
