Sangameswarar Temple

Sangameswarar Temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva in Bhavani, Tamil Nadu. At that place, the Kaveri River and Bhavani River join.
Sangamam in Tamil means Joint. Eashwar is lord and the place where Two rivers joining , so the god named as Sangameshwar.
In the temple, near the Ambal Sannithi {Private room in Tamil). two statues are seen, In which if you pour water on the statue and look, according to your mood the statue's Face may be seen Laughing or Crying.Its Like Mona lisa. When the kings ruled the place even some mines are been carved,from this place to Chdambaram.
