One of the major Tamil writers, recognised for influencing Tamil literature to a degree comparable to Kalki Krishnamurthy. He is known for his historical based novels which includes Kadal Pura, Jeeva Boomi, Cheran Selvi, Kanni Madam, Raja Thilagam, Raja Muthirai, Pallava Thilakam, and Moukini Vanam.

The Authors other famous novels are Yavana Rani, KaniMaadam and Mannan Magal.
