Sandi Simcha DuBowski (born 1970 in Brooklyn[1]) directed and produced the 2001 documentary Trembling Before G-d. He is also the producer of the upcoming documentary In the Name of Allah (2007). The films address homosexuality in Orthodox and Hasidic Judaism, and homosexuality and Islam, respectively. Each explores the lives of gays and lesbians who, despite mainstream opposition to homosexuality in their religions, continue to believe and practice their faith. [2][3]
