From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The nearest town is Sandbach. Nearby is Jodrell Bank Observatory and radio telescopes.
It has operated by RoadChef ever since it opened in 1976. In a recent report by the AA Trust on UK motorway service stations, the supreme quality of its food selection gave it bottom place[1]. Inspectors comments were: You could stop for petrol and perhaps buy some provisions, but we wouldn't recommend taking a break there. National Express use it for the drivers' forty-five minute breaks. It was recently named as the dirtiest motorway service station in Europe.
