Sand in Taufers (German) or Campo Tures (Italian) is a comune (municipality) in South Tyrol in the Italian region Trentino-South Tyrol, located about 110 km northeast of Trento and about 70 km northeast of Bolzano, on the border with Austria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,944 and an area of 164.3 km2.[1]

Sand in Taufers borders the following municipalities: Gais, Percha, Prettau, Rasen-Antholz, Sankt Jakob in Defereggen (Austria), Mühlwald, and Ahrntal.
