Sandøy is a municipality in the county of Møre og Romsdal, Norway. It is an island municipality. Sandøy consists of 871 islands, but only five are inhabited. The main inhabitated islands are Harøy, Sandøy, Finnøy, Ona and Orten. Ona is the most famous of the islands and is a popular tourist destination.
