San Vito al Tagliamento is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pordenone in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 80 km northwest of Trieste and about 20 km southeast of Pordenone. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 13,686 and an area of 60.7 km2.[1]

The municipality of San Vito al Tagliamento contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Ligugnana, Prodolone, Savorgnano, Braida, Gleris, Rosa, and Carbona.

San Vito al Tagliamento borders the following municipalities: Camino al Tagliamento, Casarsa della Delizia, Chions, Codroipo, Fiume Veneto, Morsano al Tagliamento, Sesto al Reghena, Valvasone.
