San Isidro Club

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The San Isidro Club (SIC) is a rugby union club in San Isidro, Buenos Aires, Argentina, member of the Unión de Rugby de Buenos Aires (URBA).

The club was founded in December 14, 1935, after several players and part of the management of the club were dismissed from CASI over ideological differences. The club has won 23, becoming one of the most important URBA teams, specially after the 1970s.

The match between SIC and CASI has been a local derby since the founding of the club, dividing San Isidro in two.
