San Giovanni al Natisone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 50 km northwest of Trieste and about 15 km southeast of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,841 and an area of 23.9 km².^[1]

The municipality of San Giovanni al Natisone contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bolzano, Dolegnano, Medeuzza, and Villanova del Judrio.
