San Giorgio di Mantova is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Mantua in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 130 km east of Milan and about 3 km east of Mantua. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,195 and an area of 24.5 km².^[1]

The municipality of San Giorgio di Mantova contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Caselle, Casette, Ghisiolo, Mottella (Sede Municipale), Tripoli, Villanova De Bellis, and Villanova Maiardina.

San Giorgio di Mantova borders the following municipalities: Bigarello, Castelbelforte, Mantua, Porto Mantovano, Roncoferraro, Roverbella.
