San Diego Dynasty

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

(Also see Team Dynasty) San Diego Dynasty is a professional paintball team from San Diego, California, USA. After competing together in such events as the Great Western Series (now XPSL) and the 1998 World Cup in Orlando, Alex Fraige and Oliver Lang decided to start what would eventually become team Dynasty in 1999 while they were competing against each other in the Amateur Division of the National Professional Paintball League (NPPL). Known then as the IronKids, after Bob Long's Ironmen of southern California, Fraige and Lang, along with current members of team Dynasty, Ryan Greenspan, Yosh Rau, Angel Fragoza, Brian Cole, Davey Williamson, and Todd Martinez competed in their first event in Las Vegas. In their first year competing together and at an average age of only 18 years, the IronKids won every one of the ten 10-man and four out of five 5-man events of the Great Western Series, a feat that had never before been accomplished. Now a World Champion, team Dynasty has won the NPPL championship three years in-a-row (2002, 2003, and 2004) as well as adding a Millenium (European Professional Paintball League) title for each NPPL title.
