Hi friend Nat:

I am myself the owner and editor of http://What-Buddha-Said.net/ from where all material comes from. Reg: DPPN http://What-Buddha-Said.net/library/DPPN/ Then it is from 1937 by the Indian then English government. This seems before copyright issues were relevant.

PS: Info on Gunapala Piyasena Malalasekera is found here: http://localhost/WBSlocal/library/DPPN/author.htm

Hmm, so ... the original publisher of all this material is the Indian government in 1937? You're right, that probably is public domain, in that case. Thanks for the information.—Nat Krause(Talk!) 06:10, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
