Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! We're glad to have you as a contributor; however, we have a policy against users writing about themselves and their own projects (this is generally considered vanity). It is also generally agreed upon that articles should never directly link to a user's page; if a person mentioned in an article is notable enough, they should get an article for themselves, no matter if they also have a user page (in this case, however, I'd recommend against creating an article about yourself since that would also be considered vanity :).
