[edit] Names

The character name section should really use the Japanese "last name first" convention, as Hanzo Hattori redirects to Hattori Hanzo, Jubei Yagyu to Yagyu Jubei, and so on (not to mention that's how the game itself gives the characters' names). If that means moving Basara Kubikiri to Kubikiri Basara, then so be it. Moroboshi Ataru 01:26, 12 September 2005 (UTC)

Agreed. It's going to be a big task to move everything, though.--MoriyaMug 21:35, 27 October 2005 (UTC)
Actually the page name should sport the most "official" name possible, you can specify the name in other ways in the rest of the page: the current layout should d it. Moreso, Kubikiri is not Basara's surname. --2dMadness 01:25, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Content distribution

I think that this article is getting large enough to merit being shifted to a new section, like "Samurai Shodown (series)" or the like, and making this page pertain specifically to the first game, since more of the individual games are starting to get their own entries. --MoriyaMug 21:34, 27 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Victoly

Personally I think that since this game made use of and thusly spawned the general usage of the term, "victoly", the word does deserve some mention within the article.
