Samuel Fielden (February 25, 1847 - 1922) was sentenced to death for his role in the Haymarket Square rally.

Samuel Fielden was born in Throckmorton, England and emigrated to Chicago in 1871. He became a member of the International Working People's Association in 1884. Fielden was the speaker at the Haymarket Rally when Police Captain Bonfield advanced his troops to bring an end to the rally, Fielden briefly protested before he stepped down from the stage. At the same time, the bomb was thrown. He was wounded in the knee during the chaos. He was arrested and sentenced to death, but following an appeal for clemency, Illinois Governor Richard James Oglesby reduced the sentence to life in prison. In 1893 Illinois Governor John Peter Altgeld pardoned Fielden and he was released. He died in 1922 and was not buried with the other martyrs.
