The Bulldogs are Samoa's national Australian rules football team and represents the best Samoan born players, many from the Samoa Australian Rules Football Association.

Samoa debuted internationally at the Arafura Games in 1999, where the Bulldogs won the Bronze medal.

The team performs the Siva tau (war dance) before each game and wear the guernsey of the Western Bulldogs Australian Football League team which happen to be the same colours as the Flag of Samoa.

The Bulldogs finished 7th in the inaugural 2002 Australian Football International Cup, followed by an improved 5th position in the 2005 event.

In 2005 Samoan players Fia Tootoo and Mateta Kirisome were selected in the International Cup All-Star team.
