Samborondón

Samborondón is a city located in Guayas, Ecuador, on the Babahoyo River. It is the seat of Samborondón Canton.

As of the census of 2001, there are 45,476 people residing within canton limits. Samborondon Canton is part of Guayaquil's metropolitan area. It is one of the wealthiest cantons in the country.
