Samantha Findlay

Samantha Findlay (born February 22, 1986) is a American athlete who was born in Lockport, Illinois and attended Lockport East High School from 2001 to 2005; her parents are Joseph and Terri Findlay. She is a kinesiology major and the starting first-baseman for the University of Michigan Wolverines, that won the NCAA Women's Softball World Series in her freshman year.

In her first season as a Wolverine, Samantha broke the single-season school record for RBI (previously 61) with 77, and tied the single-season school record for homeruns with 21.

She drove in her record-setting 62nd RBI of the season on April 14 against Canisius. On April 17, she tied a Michigan school record by hitting three homeruns in a single game against Indiana. On June 8, she drove in all four of Michigan's runs against UCLA, including a three-run 10th-inning homerun, to win the 2005 NCAA Women's Softball World Series.
