Sam Ratulangi Airport (IATA: MDC, ICAO: WAMM), also known as Manado Airport, is located in North Sulawesi, 17 km south of Manado. With a new terminal opened in 2001, the airport serves as the main gateway to the national park of Bunaken and has direct international flights to Singapore (Silk Air) and Davao, Philippines (Merpati).
The airport is named after Minahasan educator and independence hero Sam Ratulangi.
