Sam Nahem

Samuel Ralph Nahem (October 19, 1915 - April 19, 2004) born in New York, New York was a Pitcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers (1938), St. Louis Cardinals (1941) and Philadelphia Phillies (1942 and 1948).

He was the uncle of former MLB Outfielder Al Silvera.

In 4 seasons he had a 10-8 Win-Loss record, 90 Games, 12 Games Started, 3 Complete Games, 42 Games Finished, 1 Save, 224 ⅓ Innings Pitched, 222 Hits Allowed, 138 Runs Allowed, 117 Earned Runs Allowed, 8 Home Runs Allowed, 127 Walks Allowed, 101 Strikeouts, 7 Hit Batsmen, 9 Wild Pitches, 1,016 Batters Faced, 3 Balks and a 4.69 ERA.

He died in Berkeley, California at the age of 88.
