Sam Morrow

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sam Morrow (born on March 3, 1985 in Derry, Northern Ireland) is a professional football player, currently playing for Hibernian in the Scottish Premier League.

Morrow is one of a number of young players, including Chris Hogg and Antonio Murray signed by Tony Mowbray from his former club Ipswich Town, where he was youth coach. He only started 8 matches in his first season, but proved to be very useful as a substitute. He scored a number of important goals including two in wins over Dundee and Dundee United.

Morrow is a regular in the Northern Ireland U21 squad.

In the January 2006 transfer window Morrow was loaned to Livingston F.C until the end of the season. This loan spell at Livingston was a personal success until he suffered a broken leg in April 2006. This injury was expected to keep him out of action for several months, so Livingston immediately returned Morrow to Hibs.
