Sam Endicott (1977—]) is the lead singer for the New York-based band The Bravery. Endicott grew up in the Washington, DC, suburb of Bethesda, Maryland. Before moving to NYC and founding the Bravery, he received a degree in psychology from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where he was classmates with Bravery keyboardist John Conway. He wrote all of the songs on The Bravery's debut album, which was reportedly recorded in "various bedrooms" in New York.
Before The Bravery, Endicott played bass in a number of bands and recording projects, including NY power pop band The Pasties, and new wave band Conquistador, which also included Bravery keyboardist John Conway and CSI: Miami star Jonathan Togo.
In 2005, he had a public feud with Brandon Flowers, frontman of The Killers.
