Sam Cowen

British-born Sam Cowen is a South African radio DJ and co-host of the popular breakfast show 'The Rude Awakening' that airs every weekday on Johannesburg's popular local radio station 94.7 Highveld Stereo. She is a well-known celebrity in Johannesburg, and is easily identified on-air by her sharp wit and jovial outlook on the oddities of life and people.
She has also written a well-received book called Waiting for Christopher, a tongue-in-cheek look at pregnancy and pregnant mothers, written whilst she herself was pregnant with her son, Christopher.
