I have had a look at the Wikipedia page on appearances of the Salvation Army in films, but it does not appear to list a film I remember.

I do not remember the title of the film, but I remember a light hearted Australian film about a World War One widow who runs a brothel and (at one point in the film) the Salvation Army arrive to help put an end to the place. One of the Salvation army women ends up working in the brothel.

As I have said I can not remember the title of the film, and I did not even watch the whole thing (I had other things to do) but I do remember such a film - and it does not seem to be listed.
