Talk:Saluda cymbals

Removed text and cymbal works as there seems some doubt as to just how Saluda works! Lots of discussion on various drummers forums.

Despite what their website implies but doesn't actually claim, it seems they have no foundry, but import from other manufacturers and do some finishing and refinishing themselves.

There seems no doubt that they do manufacture drums, finish some cymbals cast elsewhere, and also distribute other cymbals that are finished in China and Turkey.

The results are pretty impressive in any case! I'm in the fortunate position of being able to choose my own cymbals by ear almost regardless of price, and I've ended up with several Saludas. Research is continuing. Andrewa 11:52, 27 Feb 2005 (UTC)
