Salzburg Seminar

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Salzburg Seminar is an American non-profit organization that holds seminars on economics, politics, and other issues to future political, economic, and business leaders from around the world. Their purpose is to "challenge current and future leaders to develop creative ideas for solving global problems." These seminars are held at the Schloss Leopoldskron, a rococo palace in Salzburg, Austria.

The organization was founded in 1947 by three Harvard University graduates who wanted to use the palace as a venue for bringing together European leaders to heal the rifts created by the World War II.
