Salthouse Dock

The Salthouse Dock is a dock, on the River Mersey and part of the Port of Liverpool it is situated in the southern dock system, connected to Canning Dock to the north, Wapping Dock to the south and Albert Dock to the west. It was design by Thomas Steers and completed after his death by Henry Berry.
The dock was opened in 1753 at one point John Okill had a yard on the south side.
